Freelance Writers Academy welcomes unpaid guest post submissions that relate to the field of writing. The ideal length for a post is between 600 and 1,000 words and it must not have been previously published elsewhere. Submitted posts must also meet the following guidelines.
- Please submit only valuable and unique information that would be helpful for writers to succeed in this craft. Must be able to pass Copyscape to avoid rejection. Please use correct grammar and spelling to avoid your post from being rejected.
- Please submit an author’s bio and headshot with the guest post submission. Bios should be 50 words or less. One backlink to a relevant high-quality website or landing page owned by you is acceptable.
- Up to 3 Images are also welcomed and encouraged. However, please submit images you have the exclusive right to or that are readily available under the creative commons license. If submitting images, please include image credits and links.
- Make your post easy to read by including headers, sub-headers, and bullet points.
Submission of your guest post does not guarantee publication.
We do not accept posts about products and services or any submissions with affiliate links.
Send guest post submissions along with a cover letter directly in the body of an email telling me a little bit about yourself and your expertise to Valerie Bordeau at [email protected]. Images may be sent as attachments.
I typically will respond back within 24-48 hours to let you know if the post has been accepted. Please note that I may ask for further editing of submissions in some cases before publishing.
I will also tell you the publishing date and give you a link to share on social media platforms. Once a post is published we strongly encourage you to promote your published blog post on social media accounts. You should also check, read and reply to post comments.
